Our Leadership

Sam Huggard

Sam began work as the district superintendent in August 2016. Prior to working with NEDA, Sam planted and pastored BeFree Community Church in Alton, New Hampshire. Before serving with BeFree, he worked with Young Life, a ministry for teens. Sam and his wife, Wendy, have been married for 22 years. They live in Alton, New Hampshire, with their 3 children: Nadia, Isabelle and Seth.

Brad Johnson

Brad started as the part-time pastoral care director in January 2022. With over 40 years of pastoral ministry experience (as youth, interim, associate and senior pastor, including the past 33+ years at Faith EFC in Acton, Massachusettes), Brad and his wife, Kathy, have a heart for supporting individuals and families in ministry, both proactively and reactively. Married since 1980, they have four children and six grandchildren.

Cyndi Buck

Cyndi began with NEDA in August of 2016, assisting Sam with NEDA’s various administrative details. She handles many of the communications details, along with coordinating and running our annual conference and other events. She is also the liaison with district pastors who are working on credentialing with EFCA national. She and her husband, Tim, live in Dover, New Hampshire.
